Why call your friends when you can stalk them?
So this program isn’t exactly brand new…but it’s interesting. Everyone at one time or another has found themselves “stalking” someone across facebook (hopefully a friend of a friend, otherwise you might be one of these people.
But loopt has taken it a step farther and allowed you to find the location of your friends by using the gps on their cell phone. Granted it is slightly delayed and sometimes inaccurately triangulated, but still. Maybe once it’s refined it could be a good program for overprotective moms but although it’s a cool idea…you won’t be triangulating me anytime soon.

are you serious? That is VERY creepy…
Moms having access to GPS on their kids cell phones isn’t that bad… but this is just a little weird. Who would sign up for this and why would you want your friends to know exactly where you are??
That sucks! That is one crazy concept. Maybe they are going too far haha
One of my friends has this application on her iphone and let me just say that it is creepy! Granted she has to give access to those that want to stalk her but still enough is enough! Stalking is becoming way incredibly easy and is being taken to the way extreme these days. As if Facebook isn’t enough! I think that tracking someone on there phone is just a little too much, let people have their privacy! With things like Facebook and Twitter it seems as though privacy is going to be hard to come across in this ever changing technological world!
I do not like the idea of this. They are taking technology a little TOO FAR. I would definitely not like to have this application on my phone.
